COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Requirement
In order to obtain the CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, you must successfully fulfill the requirements of 15 units of competency, consisting of 12 core units and 3 elective units.
Candidates are also expected to complete at least 280 working hours in an Approved Service, which will enable them to undertake various relevant tasks associated with the course.
Entry Requirements
Students will be required to complete and pass a Working With Vulnerable People Check (including a national police check) in the state or territory that they are working in prior to commencing work in this field.
Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who hold one of these previous qualifications:
CHC30121 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC30113 – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
