Additionally, as part of the Assessment Requirements for these units, you must fulfill a minimum of 440 hours of practical work experience.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific educational prerequisites for this qualification. However, students must be at least 16 years old to enroll. If students are under the age of 18, they will need parental or guardian consent to enroll.

Before undertaking work placement, Child Care students will need to successfully complete a Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check in the state or territory where they intend to work.
